OIP‘s VINIRIS product family is a cost effective, military grade visible and near-infrared imaging system. The solution is specially designed to meet Fire Control Systems, Remotely Controlled operated Weapon Stations and Recognition System requirements for ground army or naval applications. The solution is developed and considered as a line replaceable unit (LRU) and consists of 3 major SRUs: a visible/NIR observation unit, an environment conditioning unit and a self-diagnostics unit. The unique concept results in a hermetically sealed enclosure with shop replaceable units (SRU’s) in an open frame architecture.
As such, thanks to its particular design and approach, the VINIRIS is a cost effective lightweight and modular product. It is available in 2 versions: VINIRIS 2.0 with ruggedized Day Camera and VINIRIS HD-SDI, with his long-range high definition VIS/NIR CMOS camera.
The solution is MIL-STD qualified and has been used in various extremely harsh environments, as it perfectly excels in sand and dust or in salt and fog scenery.
